Postgrad looking for a flat near Old Town

I am an incoming postgraduate from the U. S. looking for a 1-year flat close to the New College where my classes will be held because I am doing a MSc in Religious Studies. I will be eating a lot of Indian food so I hope to be in reasonable distance from all of the Indian stores and restaurants on Nicolson Street.
I highly value organization and cleanliness. I have experience living with roommates and am a very honest and open communicator. I love to go on adventures, explore the country side and other cities, as well as have a comfy night in reading or watching a movie.
