Description
Hey there, thanks for taking the time to read my profile. You can call me Madhan.
I need a double room to move on first of June 2024.
What do I do for a living :
I'm a software engineer, working in an office based in central London. I go to office twice a month which I think is going to increase in the upcoming months due to the org policy.
Who I'm as a person :
I'm a pretty laid-back person who keeps to myself. I'm introverted in nature till I get comfortable with others. I occasionally listen to audiobooks.
Interested in watching movies/tv series. Used to binge-watch, but now reduced it.
I go for walks with a walking group once in a while, if not I just walk by myself most of the time. Not a long hike though.
I'm part of a volunteering org called Goodgym where I do community tasks more than twice a month.
I like to cook, but my laziness stops me from doing it. My mom told me I'm a good cook.
Though I don't drink or smoke, I don't shy away from drinking 10 pints of tap water when I go out with my friends or colleagues.
Who I’m as a housemate :
I don’t shut myself behind the room all day. I would like to socialize with other room mates if possible.
But I respect everyone’s privacy and expect the same from others.
I would like to keep the common areas(kitchen, bathroom) as clean as possible. Rota works well for me. So it’s not an issue. Have learned some cleaning tips & tricks from one of my previous housemates who worked as professional housekeeping.
I don’t smoke or consume alcohol and I’m clearly not a party animal.
I cook whenever I feel like it. Don’t worry I won’t cook in the midnights.
I try to keep the volume at considerate levels when I watch movies/listen to songs. We can get into an understanding, so it shouldn’t be an issue if you like to jam to rock music.
Why am I looking to move :
The current room contract ends this May. So I have to move. Though I like the current room I stay, it has its own set of problems around heating and other things. Also I'm familiar with West Ealing now that I stayed for a year and half now.
What do I look for in the house/room :
A comfortable bed and mattress. A desk to set up my computer for wfh (If not I will buy one NBD). I already have a chair.
A place/storage to put my cooking stuff in the kitchen.
I prefer the Internet to be provided as part of the house/rent.(If not I’ll get my own broadband. NBD)
Viewing:
I can come for viewing in person on any evening as I'm staying in West Ealing at the moment and want to move within the Ealing council (Ealing/Northfields/Hanwell) areas only.
