Description
Blockley is a quiet and peaceful village with two pubs, shop, café, gym etc. It's only a short trip to Moreton-in-Marsh where there are larger food shops and other specialists. (23 minute bus ride or 8 minutes by car).
The house itself is not a cotswolds stone building, e. g. it’s warm and dry with ceilings of a normal height. Three stories backing on to Blockley Brook with outside patio area. Lovely in the summer.
The room has a new bed in, as it was our guest room, which can be made into a double or kept as a single if you’d rather have the floor space. Built in wardrobe for storage, plenty of light and enough room for a desk if desired. There’s always available parking either roadside (dead end road, no through traffic) or in a spare parking spaces next to the house. Bills included: Broadband, council tax, electricity, gas.
Shared bathroom (although we have en suite) is newly refurbished. We’ll make sure there’s a dedicated cupboard in the kitchen if you want one and there’s loads of fridge space.
My girlfriend and I own the property, we’re 29/30 and both working professionals. We work normal, sometimes long hours, but enjoy spending time with engaging people.
The house is kept tidy and has a cleaner once every 2 weeks. We’re looking for someone who is respectful of the house, as we’ve worked hard to bring it up to standard. We’ll respect your space as we hope you will ours. We have an adopted dog, who is friendly, dosent bark/jump up and dosent go upstairs so will never be in your space.
We generally either go to the gym or chill out in the evening over a film, board game, books or with friends.
New kitchen. New bathroom.
Anything else… Washing machine, dishwasher, hobs, oven, kettle, toaster, fireplace it’s got it all. EV charging point (not inc, but can be discussed)
Broadband: 300mbps

We've had a few lodgers over the past 3 years all have been brilliant and some have asked to come back year-on-year. Most were on fixed term work contracts.

Very communicative and understanding of people renting for shorter periods. They were respectful of my privacy and very friendly. I couldn’t recommend staying with them more. The location of Blockley is beautiful and quaint. Perfect for commuting around the Cotswolds for work. Ideal spare-room."
