Large private room (part or full-time) in Filton

A spacious, comfortable double room is available in my beautifully presented Victorian mid-terrace home in Filton. I am happy to consider full-time lodgers or a Monday–Friday/part-time arrangement at a reduced rent.

The room is located on the ground floor, offering a good degree of privacy from the family living space upstairs. It includes a high-quality double bed, wardrobe, dining/work table with three chairs, blackout curtains, double glazing for a peaceful night’s sleep, and a new 43” Smart TV (currently being wall-mounted and therefore not shown in the photos).

The ground-floor shower room is primarily for the use of the downstairs room, meaning there are no morning queues. All bills are included, and bedding can be provided if required. The house also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, a washing machine, tumble dryer, and secure bike storage in the garden.

You would be sharing the home with me, Suzanne (50), my 13-year-old son, a very affectionate cat, and a Yorkshire Terrier. We have our own bathroom upstairs, creating a relaxed and respectful living arrangement. Occasionally, there may also be another lodger staying in the upstairs room, which has access to a separate bathroom.

The location is excellent — tucked between Gloucester Road North and Southmead Road, with easy access to Airbus, Rolls-Royce, MOD Abbey Wood, UWE Frenchay Campus, and Bristol Parkway. There is plentiful on-street parking, bus stops just two minutes’ walk away in both directions, and a Tesco Express just around the corner for everyday essentials.

I’m looking for a tidy, respectful and easy-going lodger who will enjoy a comfortable, welcoming home.
