Would you like to share the home of a friendly, older gentleman who is interested in mechanics, technology and gardening? He is very independent and likes socialising.
A double room with plenty of storage is available in a lovely house in Cheltenham, near Swindon Village. The house is located in a lovely, quiet street, 2 minutes’ walk for Princess Elizabeth Way and a short drive into the town centre. There is a bus stop nearby and plenty of on street parking. The house boasts a beautiful garden, as well as two lounges and a dining room. There is a male lodger in the house, who works nights.

This would suit a friendly, tidy, helpful person who would enjoy sharing company and some meals together. A driver would be ideal (could use Householder’s car) to assist with the weekly food shop and for transport to the occasional appointments. Having the reassurance of there being someone in the house is very important. The Householder has Parkinson’s Disease and would welcome someone who could remind him of various appointments. Having green fingers would be a bonus, as he loves tending to the garden.

Homesharing is a low cost arrangement because you give ten hours of your time each week helping with practical tasks, providing some companionship, and giving overnight security and reassurance for the householder. In return, you get a room in a safe environment with low outgoings. The Householder would like a contribution of £75 per month towards bills.
Homesharing is a lifestyle choice and is suited to emotionally mature, reliable people.
