You will have a large, fully furnished double room on the ground floor, which includes all major furniture (double bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, etc... just as photos.). A major perk is the access to a dedicated downstairs toilet with a sink, offering a good degree of privacy given there is only one shared bathroom upstairs.
We have a large, south-facing garden perfect for relaxing and bbq in the summer.
A football field/green space is right at the end of the garden, and Pittville Park is only a 5-minute drive away or many other beautiful walks withinh half an hour drive.
The location is excellent for easy commuting and access to amenities within walking distance of GCHQ/Gloucestershire College/shops and transport.
The train station and new bus hub are just 1 mile away, with easy access to the M5 and town centre.
Plenty of free, on-street parking is available.
The house is shared by three professionals. We are a friendly, supportive, playful and social group, sharing a wide range of hobbies. We enjoy socializing and can be loud (laughter) at times.
We are all respectful of each other's independence and space.
Shared areas are kept clean and welcoming. While a regular cleaner maintains the communal areas, we expect housemates to tidy up after themselves in the kitchen and common areas.
We have an 11-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl. She is very well-behaved and gentle, loves people and treats. She respects closed doors, but open door is an invitation for friendly check-in.
Working from Home: As at least one of us is usually working or studying from home, this room is not set up to comfortably accommodate another person needing to WFH.
We do not accept applicants on benefits/families or couples.
For the right housemate, we can be flexible with the move-in day and offer medium-to-long-term stays. We would also consider short-term stays, such as a Mon-Fri let or a commitment leading up to Christmas.
