BEDSIT/STUDIO (no separate living room) with private, separate kitchen, shower and toilet. 5 mins walk to town centre. 1 min to Pittville Park. Perfect if you like privacy. All bills included except for any electric heaters you provide. Gas central heating is on from dusk until 10pm in winter.

PLEASE NOTE: The shower unit is not suitable for people over 5ft 7 (1.7 metres).

It is part-furnished with a single bed (you can change it if you have a double) and some storage. We can discuss other furniture needs or there is room for you to bring some of your own.

No couples, no pets, sorry. No smoking or vaping inside or out.

Parking in the surrounding area is zoned and a permit would only be available for six months of the year (Nov-April) approx £10 per month. Previous lodgers have had cars, but walked a short distance to park, however if you intend to use your car every day, finding a regular place is tricky. You would have to assess the area for yourself.

My partner and I are the owners and we live upstairs. We use a room for storage next to yours, but you have your own front door, kitchen and shower room. We share the washing machine and dryer in your kitchen, but we'll try to use them when you're out. We're very respectful and considerate of people's privacy. You won't have daily interaction with us. We think of ourselves as friendly neighbours rather than housemates.

We're looking for a professional person with a mature and considerate attitude. We'd prefer you to be older than 25 and not working from home. Keeping your part of the house clean and tidy is important to us. And no party animals please!

There is a gas hob with a separate electric mini oven. Fast broadband is included and a TV box if you have your own TV.

The wide hallway has lots of extra storage space for a bike etc.

We require references with telephone number and address, typically from a previous landlord and current employer.
