Double room, bright & warm apt, central Cheltenham

My current housemate has purchased a house and will be moving out shortly. I’m looking for someone to replace him. The apartment is modern, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in a fantastic location in the centre of Cheltenham. It’s a 1-minute walk to Waitrose, 5-minute walk to a large Tesco, 10-minute walk to the train station, 8-minute walk to the bus station, and an 8-minute walk to the Brewery Quarter. It’s a bright, spacious apartment with plenty of light and is warm in the winter. There’s also a long balcony that overlooks the Honeybourne Line.

You would be moving into a double-sized room with your own bathroom, sharing the apartment with just me. Your room also comes with a dedicated parking space in the secure underground carpark. The bedroom and bathroom is highlighted in red on the floorplan.
The apartment is furnished with my furniture; except the room you’d be moving into. The current person is taking that with him, so you’d have to bring a bed, wardrobe, drawers etc. The living room has 2 sofas, a dining table and 65” TV.

The £1,100pm rent is split equally (so £550 each). This is also the case for all bills. All in, rent & bills currently work out to be around £705pm. I’ve lived here for 8 years and have a good relationship with the landlady, who is very quick to fix any problems.

I’m a 31-year-old working professional who has lived in Cheltenham for the last 10 years. I’m a software engineer that works 100% remotely (from home). I’m an easy-going, tidy and quiet person that’s into gym, travel and socialising. I’m often away at weekends and away quite often for work. I'm looking for a like-minded individual of a similar age.
