Live-in Accommodation Opportunity – Central Cheltenham (September–June)
Hi everyone,
I'm a single dad looking for a responsible, trustworthy young professional or postgraduate/graduate student to live in my home in central Cheltenham from the beginning of September for around 10 months.
In return for free accommodation (all bills and Wi-Fi included), I'm looking for someone who can simply be an adult presence in the house overnight when I'm sometimes away because of work or other commitments.
You would have:
• Your own bedroom
• Your own private bathroom
• Full use of the house
• Free accommodation with all bills and Wi-Fi included
• A friendly, relaxed home in the centre of Cheltenham
I live with my 15-year-old daughter, who has Type 1 diabetes. She's confident, independent and manages her diabetes herself. She doesn't need childcare or help with her diabetes, but as she's under 16, I can't leave her alone in the house overnight.
This is not a childcare or caring role. You wouldn't be expected to supervise her, administer medication, cook, clean or do household chores. The role is simply to be in the house overnight so that there's another responsible adult present in the unlikely event of an emergency.
I'm looking for someone who is mature, reliable, a non-smoker, and generally home overnight. The arrangement would suit a postgraduate student, trainee teacher, NHS worker or another young professional looking for quality accommodation while helping out with a simple but important role.
