Description

I'm currently looking to rent one of the spare rooms in my house in central Cheltenham for £400pcm. It's a large double room with hardwood floors which comes fully furnished. It's situated towards the back of the house which overlooks a no-through road meaning it's probably the most quiet room in the house. The £400 includes everything, bills, council tax, internet etc. You wouldn't be expected to contribute anything additional bar the cost of a resident parking permit.

The house itself is situated very close to the town centre, but tucked away down a quiet backstreet, giving the best of both worlds. The room looks out over an even quieter no-through road. It's in the St Lukes area, so Sandford Park, Montpellier, the top of the High Street and the best pubs are all a couple of minutes away. It's also a stone's throw from the hospital so would suit newly qualified medical professionals and/or the particularly accident prone!

It's my own home so I have an interest in keeping it in order and I'm told it has a very 'homely' feel to it. Along with three bedrooms, it has a living room, dining room, a study and a decent sized kitchen, bathroom as well as a second toilet. There is a good sized town garden at the back - ideal for smokers as it's banned in the house. The area has permit parking so it is pretty easy to park.

Included in the rent are all bills, along with council tax, very fast broadband/wifi and Virgin tv.

You'd be living with two professionals (male and female) who like to keep things relatively low-key in the week whilst making the most of the weekend. I live and work in London so I would only be an occasional weekend visitor, animals included! It's a really sociable, laidback house and someone of a similar mindset would be ideal. We're good friends and think that is reflected in the house's atmosphere. We're clean and tidy, but also pretty laidback so we like to think we get the balance right (but doesn't everyone?). We're sociable housemates and enjoy nattering about most things - especially enjoy the chance to put the world to rights with like-minded types. I also have two miniature schnauzers who are well-trained, friendly and pretty much constantly asleep. There's also a resident cat, owned by another housemate. It's great for animal lovers and friendly pets are welcome.

If this all sounds good then get in touch.
