Room to Let - Close to Chelt Centre

The house is a few minutes’ walk from the town centre; a spacious double room is available: on the second floor within a 5-bedroomed town house. The room is furnished with double bed (including mattress protector), plenty of wardrobe space, a desk and swivel chair, a tall book shelf, a bedside unit, a lamp, and a laundry hamper.

The shared parts of the house comprise:
• a living room with a leather three seater sofa, a comfy Ikea POANG armchair, a 32" screen TV with Freeview, and a DVD player;
• a shower room with toilet;
• a bathroom with shower over and with toilet;
• a kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, crockery, cutlery, baking trays, and pots and pans, as well as a food waste recycling bin. Each housemate has their own fridge freezer, a single cupboard (60cm), a drawer and a large bread bin for food storage.
• the utility room is equipped with a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and an additional toilet. There are also a good number of recycling boxes/bags with which I expect all housemates to recycle their household waste.

All household bills are included in the stated rent, as well as all those essentials such as toilet paper, kitchen foil, dishwasher tablets, and hand soap, to name a few!

The wireless internet access is BT Infinity 2.

The shared areas are professionally cleaned weekly, with each bedroom being the responsibility of the occupier.

I am looking for a person who is clean, tidy, and quiet and who will naturally treat my house with respect and have respect for their fellow housemates. It is vital that you understand the need for keeping the shared areas tidy, as well as the need for good kitchen hygiene.

I use a company called rentchecks to screen prospective housemates using either the ‘Advanced UK Tenant Check’ or the ‘International Tenant Check’, there is no cost to the prospective housemate.

A non-smoker is a must.

There is limited on street parking available close to the house, but there is secure storage available for a bicycle.
