Homeshare West is looking for a good humoured person who is open, tolerant, respectful of animals and nature. Someone willing to support a householder with tidying up his house, cooking occasional vegetarian meals, some gardening and company. Because of the rural location you will need your own transport.

The householder is a retired Chartered Engineer and Lecturer, who enjoys spending most of his afternoons with his ponies. He would like to share his large home with someone who enjoys living in the countryside and loves animals, especially dogs and horses. He used to be a keen gardener, including running his own organic vegetable business. He may consider a Sharer with a well behaved dog.

Homesharing is a low cost accommodation arrangement. You give ten hours of your time each week helping an older person with practical tasks, and provide companionship and overnight security for the householder. In return you get a pleasant room in a safe environment with very low outgoings.

Homesharing is a lifestyle choice, not for everyone, more suited to mature, reliable people. If you have the energy and commitment at the end of your working day to spend some of your evenings and weekends engaging with the householder and helping out, we would like to hear from you.
