Room in Leckhampton for rent - just off Bath Road

Hi I’m Alfie, looking to sublet a spare room as my existing housemate is moving away for work. I’m 31, a professional writer from home and ultra marathon runner. I’m sociable but prefer to live a quiet uncomplicated life at home. I have a girlfriend who stays over once or twice a week.

The advertised room is the empty one in the pictures. It’s on the ground floor. However, I would be willing to rent the spare room on the first floor instead, which is slightly smaller but has a shared en suite.

I’m looking for someone clean and tidy, mostly quiet although I’m not fastidious and I prefer a relaxed life over a regimented one.

The house is a terrace in Leckhampton, about 5 minutes walk from the amenities of Bath Road, and about a 15-20 minute walk to the town centre. There is on-street unreserved parking.

The house itself has two toilets (one bath), a living/dining area, a kitchen, your bedroom, my bedroom, a spare bedroom, a small garden and a converted loft (currently my office). It’s spacious and easily accommodating for two people. There’s plenty of storage space in the house and out the back. Bills are included, as well as 500mbps internet. There’s a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen plus other facilities like air fryer, coffee machine etc.
