Room to Let in Relaxed Leftie Rodborough

Small double room available in my detached home in Rodborough. You’ll have your own private shower room with basin, and the house has two toilets in total.
The house is comfortable and lived in rather than finely decorated , the kitchen units are older and not pristine, and it’s not a “mod cons” kind of place. What it is is warm, spacious and welcoming, with a large kitchen for eating and chatting, plus a balcony, garden and raised seating area that catches the sun. I don’t have a dishwasher.
The room is on the Bath roadside, so if you’re sensitive to traffic noise, this may not be the right fit. Location-wise, it’s brilliant: The Clothiers pub, local shop and Indian takeaway are a minute away, and Stroud station and the town centre are a 10 minute walk.
I’m looking for someone who doesn’t work from home, is generally out 9–5, and enjoys their own company. You’re welcome to have friends over, but I’d appreciate someone clean, tidy and respectful. I work in a communication heavy job, so in the evenings I like to curl up in my lounge and recharge. I’m friendly and happy to chat in the kitchen, but I do need quiet evenings.
You’d be sharing the house with my over friendly dog and a cat who tries to rule.
