Large room + bathroom + own living room

Offering a large double room, plus private bathroom and optional private living room in a large Cotswolds house. This is a private space that occupies most of the top floor of the house.

The house is my UK base but I am away A LOT, meaning the room-mate would have the house to themselves frequently.

This is a c1649 Cotswolds stone house on the edge of Selsley Common, with lovely walks all around.

The bedroom is a very large double and the space offered is effectively the top floor of the house, which also comprises two other (empty) bedrooms and a small bathroom.

On the ground floor is a very large living room with a log fire, a large kitchen with dining area and AGA, a small study that I use when I WFH, and a large second living room that you could use as a study or living room. There is a nice front garden and small back courtyard.

I am a 54 y/o professional with grown up kids who visit on occasion. Because much of my work is abroad and I travel as well with partner, I am at home only about half the time. When I am around, I like peace (because I'm super busy when in work mode) but can also be social and enjoy cooking with others. I like to walk, read, garden, yoga, see friends, travel.

The house and room are well decorated and fairly modern. Note at present there is a washer but no drier. Broadband is good and would be included. Other bills we could share. There is an old barn complex behind which has been unused for the 6 years I've used the house and is thus very quiet.

This would ideally suit someone at a similar phase in life who is fairly chill. I think I will have two cats after Jan 15, but this is unclear as yet.

There is no dedicated off-street parking (except when I'm away).
