Light double in Old Stroud, 5 mins to train!

Double room to rent in top floor lodgings in one of the oldest houses in the town. Old Stroud is a lovely area very close to the top of the High Street with its independent cafes and shops. It takes just over five minutes to walk to the train station; The Bisley House and Golden Fleece are very near and you can be in countryside within 10 minutes walk in three directions.

We have a light, furnished double room with central heating to rent on the second floor of the house. There is a kitchenette with cooker, fridge etc, and an eating space - all shared with our other long term lodger (female, very easy to get along with). There's also a shower room - with a good shower - and a large garden out the back. On street parking is available free in the area, though not always right outside!

The upper floor, where the room is, is accessed through the main part of the house where we live, but feels like a separate flat due to a door on the stairs. We are a family (an academic and a performer) and have two children. The washing machine is downstairs and shared with us.

We have a TV license and broadband throughout the house and the relevant insurance to have lodgers. There's a bed, small flatscreen TV, large cupboard, wardrobe, mirror & 2 chairs, and we can add or remove this furniture to suit you.

We are looking for a female lodger.
