Large double room in an idyllic rural family home

Extra-large, double-room (19'x11.5') in a spacious but very cosy second floor of a historic rural family home 8 miles from the centre of Cheltenham and 2 miles from the centre of Tewkesbury and J9 of the M5 .

You will have access to a spacious and recently remodelled kitchenette with washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, induction hob on the same floor as your room. If needed, you can use one of the ovens in the main kitchen on the ground floor.
You will share a shower-bathroom on your floor with one other respectful female lodger.

- 1 hour per week cleaning of shared areas.

You will be sharing with one professional female in her 50's. My husband, Andy and I and one of our daughters in her 20's live below (ground/first floor). Andy and I work from home most days. Although we do have a very friendly Westie and a Rough Collie they do not go upstairs nor have access to your accommodation or the shared staircase. Your rooms are pet free.

The ideal lodger will enjoy the peace of this special home and its rural surroundings and be tidy and respectful. We are friendly and welcoming but not a party house. We enjoy the occasional shared film, chats over a cuppa about anything from the meaning of life and politics to films and music and can be persuaded to the occasional board game. Although lodgers tend to cook independently we do enjoy sharing a meal together from time to time when it suits everyone. We do not permit lodgers to host visitors or stayovers so you can be assured of a quiet and peaceful enjoyment of your shared living space.
