I have a double master bedroom including private en suite bathroom with large walk in shower available for a tenant in a modern new-build flat in Barking. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, under-bed storage & drawers, large fitted wardrobe, side table/set of drawers, bookcase and modular shelving system.


The main open plan living space consists of an attractive kitchen area with all modern appliances (fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine), dining table and sitting area (sofa, coffee table and smart television). We have Virgin Media 200Mbps Broadband, making it easy to work from home. The flat is on the 3rd floor of the building, with lift access.


You would be living with an additional tenant who is currently living in the second bedroom. He is an easy going and friendly theatre professional in his early thirties. We are keen to a find a lodger to join him in the flat, who is relaxed and respectful to live with.


The flat is well located, just a 13 minute minute walk to Barking station (District, Hammersmith & City and Overground lines, as well as National Rail which is a 15 minute journey into Fenchurch Street). There are plenty of shops around on the high street, with Tesco and Asda a 10 minute walk. There is also a Nisa convenience store just down the street. We are beside the River Roding, with easy access walks alongside it down to The Thames, and a lovely cafe/bar The Boathouse on the doorstep overlooking the water.


All bills (broadband, energy, council tax, service charge) are included in the price. A one-off deposit (£1,100) will be requested. Rent is £1,100 per month, to be paid in advance. The room is available from the start of October with flexibility around starting date.
