Description
If you are a mature vegetarian woman, please read on, because I have a room available for an older vegetarian or vegan woman looking for long-term accommodation.
Bedroom, shared living room and small separate kitchen, with washing machine. The bathroom would be for you and visitors only. Private parking space in underground garage negotiable. The bedroom has a double bed with two large drawers, as well as a small chest of drawers and a bedside. The wardrobe has extra storage space.
The room is in a second floor newish Barking Riverside flat with a distant view of the Thames. Ten minutes walk to Barking Riverside station (Suffragette Line overground) or take the bus to Barking shops and station in less than 20 minutes. Fifteen minutes to Barking Riverside pier for Thames Clipper service - commutable to Woolwich, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, and central London piers. A pharmacy and a Co-op supermarket are very close.
There are walks along the Thames foreshore, a community garden, and various community activities locally. Barking Riverside is a rapidly changing area. It’s a good area for cycling and there's bike storage on the ground floor.
This isn’t a party flat, and you would need to be quite self-contained as you wouldhave the place to yourself for months at a time as my female partner and I are only here for a few months of the year. It could be a quiet place to study or wfh, with good broadband. It would suit someone self-contained who enjoys privacy, and, like me, will enjoy watching a new area of London evolve.
