Hi all!

I’m heading off travelling in South America, sadly leaving a large fully furnished double room available in a great, modern two-bed flat in Barking in East London.

THE FLAT AND BUILDING AMENITIES
We have a large double bedroom available, which includes a double bed & decent mattress, double wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables.

You'll have your own bathroom too (with a bath and shower), and the flat also has a living room, kitchen (with a dishwasher) and balcony.

Additionally, the flat complex includes access to a free on-site co-working/social space (with table tennis) and a great gym once you've paid a small one-off induction fee (£35).

THE LOCATION
We’re about a 15 minute walk from Barking station - which is on the District & Hammersmith & City tube lines, London Overground (Suffragette line) and National Rail - which provide quick and easy access into Fenchurch Street (for City of London), Liverpool Street, Stratford, Canary Wharf and Kings Cross to name a few key areas.

There is also a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the flat, and a large Tesco Superstore a 5-10 minute walk away.

Barking has a small high street with shops/cafes etc. including Boots, Superdrug, McDonalds, KFC and Starbucks, and you also have East Ham high street and Beckton Retail Park located nearby.

THE SMALLPRINT (RENT, BILLS AND MOVING IN)
Rent is £900 per month, and bills come to an additional ~£150 per person each month - which includes:

- Electricity (£20)
- Heat (£10)
- Council tax (£93)
- Water (£12)
- High speed WiFi (£17)

The agency carries out a reference check, which means you must earn £27,000 or more annually.

I can be a little flexible on the exact move-in date, so anytime between 20th Sept - 1st October would work well.

YOUR FLATMATE / ABOUT YOU
You’ll be living with Koenig, a friendly, considerate and clean/tidy female professional from Paris in her late 20s. Koenig works 9-5ish hours Monday to Friday in IT/sales, and her interests include exploring London, football (she's an avid Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich fan), socialising with friends and enjoying a good Netflix binge.

Koenig often travels for work and back to Paris, so you'll also have the flat to yourself sometimes - but when she's around, she's always up for a chat and glass of wine :)

She'd like to find a like-minded, respectful flatmate aged between 23 – 45 (ideally a female, but males can be considered if you're a good fit), so if you’re interested in coming over for a look around and a coffee, please do get in touch!
