Hey everyone, I’m looking for someone to take over my room. Sadly, I have to move out due to changes with work 😔
About the flat:
Location: Barking, East London – about a 13 min walk to Barking Station (District, Hammersmith & City, Overground and C2C into central).
Shops: Tesco, Morrisons and Asda all 5 mins away.
Amenities: Residents’ gym, media room, co-working space and lounge.
It’s a 2-bed flat, both rooms en-suite. The living room is fully furnished. The bedroom comes unfurnished, but I’m happy to chat if you’d like to take over any of my furniture.
Costs:
Rent: £2,000 total (£1,000 each).
Bills: Around £180 per person (incl. council tax, depends on usage/season).
Move-in: Week of 1st October.
About your flatmate: He’s 32, from Ghana, works in tech/data (Mon–Fri, office based).
Into movies and crate-digging for vinyl gems. He’s chilled, respectful, introverted but sociable too, really easy to live with.
Who would be a good fit: Just someone clean, respectful of space/boundaries, and able to pass referencing. No preference on age or gender.
