Spacious double bedroom available in 2-Bed-1-bath flat-share in Barking (IG11) from first week of October
no couples & no pets allowed, sorry!
The flat is very bright, modern, incredibly spacious and has been a lovely place to call home over the past 18 months. This is not a party flat, but rather a peaceful home to return to after a long day at work.
I’m hoping to find someone who will appreciate the flat the way I do
The Flat:
• £980/month rent only and the bills+ council tax come up to another £160/person
• located on 4th floor
• Large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area- lots of sunlight during the day
• Shared balcony & bathroom
• Separate shared storage room
• comes with a washer+dryer and also dishwasher included in kitchen
The Bedroom:
• double bed & chest of drawers
• Floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the park with plenty of natural light and a fantastic view
• Built-in wardrobe with full-length mirrored sliding doors
Building Facilities
• Concierge operational during weekdays and limited hours on Saturdays- great to ensure parcels don’t get lost or stolen!
• Residents’ gym & lounge area downstairs
• Secure building with lift access
📍 Location
I find that the location is one of its best selling points- it’s 7 mins walk from Barking Station (which has Suffragette, H&C, District & c2c lines so multiple ways to get to central London & beyond), plus lots of bus stops nearby so you would be very very well-connected.
A massive Asda is literally next door (shares the same entrance/exit with our building) so late night last minute groceries will never be an issue
Close to other supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, post office, laundromats, hair salons and other day-to-day amenities. Takeaways are relatively cheaper on this end so that could be a plus if you don’t cook a lot

I’m 28F and I work full-time Mon to Fri in the NHS (read: long hours 🥲) so am usually out during the day, but mostly like to stay in and relax over the weekend. I’m quiet, reliable, clean and tidy. So as you can imagine I genuinely value having a calm, relaxing home to come back to after a very busy, hectic day at work. I occasionally cook and enjoy my own down time while I’m at it.
I greatly value cleanliness, privacy and while am respectful of personal space, I can be up for a friendly chat.
I believe the best house shares are built on mutual respect, consideration and good communication.
We can get along very well if you are:
• Looking for a calm, peaceful home rather than a party flat
• Clean, tidy, responsible
• respectful and considerate of shared spaces & noise levels
Occasional guests are of course very welcome, obviously bearing in mind visiting durations & frequencies remain reasonable as we would be sharing kitchen/living area plus toilet/bathroom so it’s important we both should feel comfortable at all times. I personally do not have my friends & family come over as I prefer to separate my social life from my personal living space.
