I have a large furnished double bedroom available in my spacious flat (over 1000sq feet) in Birkbeck between Crystal Palace and Beckenham.

The flat is split level so it feels more like a house. My bedroom is on the 3rd floor and the lodger room is on the 2nd floor overlooking the neighbouring gardens (Garden belongs to downstairs)

I have a bathroom upstairs so the downstairs bathroom will belong to the lodger. (I may just request to use the bath every so often as I have no bath upstairs. It will be fully cleaned after use)

The lodger room is furnished with a double bed, large wardrobe, 2x large mirrors (including full length), chest of drawers, desk and chair.

The kitchen and living room are kitchen includes kettle, toaster, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave.

Travel links to the flat are excellent with multiple options:

Birkbeck station (1min walk) : Trains to London Bridge and Beckenham
Also a tram to Beckenham and Croydon/Wimbledon

Elmers End Station (10min walk): Trains to London Bridge

Anerley Station (17min walk): London Overground trains to Canada Water

Kent House Station (15min walk) :
Trains to London Victoria

Walkable to Beckenham and Crystal Palace Triangle (also short bus ride available-bus stop outside flat)

I am a 37year old female. I work in the arts and teach music and drama in schools (2 afternoons a week) I teach the odd lesson from home but these are minimal 1-3hrs a week.

I am sociable, friendly and tidy. I would expect for my flat to be kept tidy and for some help to be given with keeping things clean and organised. I have a cleaner fortnightly and they can include lodger room and bathroom if you'd like to chip in a little.

I am open to having someone I could hang out with from time to time and definitely don't want animosity. I love a good chat, and am friendly but I do also need my private space and like my home to be somewhere I can have alot of quiet downtime. No party animals please! Ideally not wfh more than 2days a week.

In my spare time I do pilates, and like walking, parks and a good coffee in a coffee shop.

Bills, wifi and council tax not included. Bills are charged on exact usage per month as I have smart metres.

Short term lets preferred at this time - but could consider 6 months with possibility of extending for right person. Also will consider Mon-Fri lets and will be happy to discuss price for that.
