Large double room in beautiful, quiet home

I am looking for a friendly, tidy and considerate housemate to share my beautiful home. The double bedroom (originally the master bedroom) is bright and spacious, with a king sized bed, plenty of storage, and a desk. You would be living with me (F47) and my two little dogs, and one more lodger (M23). I work from home 3 or 4 days a week, you would be welcome to work from home as well if that suits you.

The common areas include a bathroom with bath and separate shower, a spacious living room with a big TV and lots of books, a utility room with a washing machine & tumble dryer, a separate w/c on the ground floor, and a gorgeous, well-equipped kitchen/diner opening out onto a mature South-facing garden. Outside there is a patio with comfy seating for fine weather days and the wildlife-friendly garden has bird feeders (visitors include tits, woodpeckers, and goldfinches), flowers, fruit trees, strawberries, and an ornamental pond.

The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac a very short walk away from shops, restaurants, and a bus stop. Eden Park train station is a 12 min walk away (or a very short bus ride), Elmer's End Station is a 25-min walk. Trains go into London Bridge (trip takes about 26-30 mins) or Charing Cross (about 32-39 mins). There's a David Lloyd gym a short walk away and lovely Kelsey Park and the grounds of the Bethlehem Museum of the Mind are also easily reachable on foot. Beckenham town centre, with its shops, cafes, restaurants, and cinema, is a short bus ride away (or an 18-20 min walk).

Rent is inclusive of all bills including utilities, council tax, fast broadband, sundries, and a weekly cleaner. There is no on-site parking but usually plenty of spaces for street parking.
