Lovely single room available. Female preferred.

The room is lovely. Newly decorated with a single bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. All the bedding is also new. It's warm and cosy but it is small. Perfect for sleeping or watching tv but no room for a party!
There is other storage if needed in the loft and garage.
It's in a 3 bedroomed house in a tree lined road in Beckenham about 10 minutes from the high street and main line stations. There's also a tram and various buses. The nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away.
The house is warm and comfortable with all modern. conveniences. There's a lounge at the front and the kitchen/dining room leads out onto a decked area and mainly lawned garden via french windows. It's a great space for bbq's and parties. There are 3 trees and various bushes. We have a 2nd garden further back where you coukd grow vegetables or just chill. There's also a greenhouse.
It's a friendly, safe area with lots of parks and open spaces.
Beckenham has lots of amenities. It's a thriving town, plenty if shops, coffee bars, bars, gyms, a swimming pool, library, cinema, churches etc etc
I'm a retired social worker, Carla my long term house mate works for the Portuguese tourist office, she originates from Lisbon. We're both easy going, friendly and active. I have more free time and enjoy tennis , cycling, the gym, walking (the dog).
I'm hoping to travel more and hence my preference for a female as Carla would be more comfortable in my absence.
We have a dog, a friendly but rather timed, rescue greyhound. Yumi likes to go for walks but generally will be busy at home sleeping in her various beds or sofa 23 hours a day!
We gave Sky tv and broadband, Netflix and amazon Prime. I tend to watch a lot of sport, Netflix etc. There are a number of tv's in the house so there isn't usually a problem about who watches what/when.
I do have a deck and some old vinyl.
We keep the house clean and reasonably tidy. There's no system in place currently. We tend to cook separately but occasionally we will gave meals together. There's plenty of room in the kitchen/dining room for shared living.
There's one bathroom upstairs with a large bath and a walk-in shower and there's a 2nd toilet under the stairs. There's unrestricted parking in the street.
