Short Stay in Unique Home by Beckenham Place Park

Hi! I’m looking for someone to stay for a few days or up to two weeks in my lovely mid-century modern home in Beckenham (BR3). The house is full of character, a skylight that floods the space with natural light, and an open-plan split-level living area. There’s a private garden plus a large communal garden, and we have direct access to Beckenham Place Park through a private gate. If you love nature and a home with personality, this could be perfect for you!

The Room:
- Furnished double bedroom (double bed, bedside tables, lamp, shelves).
- Bills included (broadband, gas, electricity).
- Access to shared two bathrooms upstairs (one with bath/shower, one with shower) and a downstairs WC.
- Shared kitchen, dining and living space.

About Us:
I live here with my 5-year-old daughter. It’s a warm, lived-in family home, so please note:
- There will be toys around.
- It can be noisy at times (singing, dancing, tantrums!).
- Its a lived in family house.
I’ve never done this before and am trying it out, so I’d really appreciate someone understanding and respectful of the space.

Ideal Guest:
- Female, professional.
- Non-smoker.
- Works outside the home (not WFH).
- Short-term stays only (under 2 weeks).

Location & Transport:
- 15 mins to Beckenham Junction (Victoria & London Bridge)
- 8 mins to Ravensbourne (Blackfriars; the City)
- 20 mins to New Beckenham (London Bridge; Charing Cross)
- 15-min walk to Beckenham High Street (cafés, restaurants, Waitrose, M&S, Co-op, gyms, yoga and pilates studios).
- 354 bus stop is 2 mins away.
- Free parking nearby.

Rates:
£250/week (bills included).
£45/night for stays under a week.
