Spacious double in riverside flat with Thames view

Bright, modern flat by the Thames with a balcony, river views and a good-sized double room available from October. My current flatmate has really enjoyed living here but she’s moving for work, so I’m looking for someone new to call it home.

The room is a spacious double with a wardrobe. I have my own en-suite, so the main bathroom (toilet and bath/shower) would primarily be yours.

The flat has lovely views over Kew Gardens, the Thames and towards Chiswick, plus a communal garden right on the river.

The flat itself is modern but homely, with books, artwork, a big TV and a balcony overlooking the water. The kitchen has plenty of storage and all the usual stuff — fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave.

Transport-wise, Brentford SWR station, Gunnersbury, South Ealing and Ealing Broadway are all within easy reach, with buses right outside. There’s also secure bike storage.

There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby, particularly along the river, which is a great spot in the summer.

A bit about me: I’m 28, a freelance journalist and I own the flat. I mostly work from home but am often out and about with work. Outside that, I see friends and family, travel, play football (badly), and go to gigs, theatre and the occasional opera.

I’m looking for someone easygoing, tidy and considerate who wants a comfortable place to call home rather than just somewhere to sleep. It’s a relaxed household, so ideally someone who’s happy to have a chat or a drink now and then while also doing their own thing.
