Description
Hey!
My flatmate is moving out at the end of July due to a change in work location, so I’m looking for someone to take over her room.
The move in date is flexible from mid-end July, though ideally your move in date would be between the 28th July - 1st August. We’re currently on a rolling contract, but there’s the option to do a straightforward “change of sharer” process through the management company. There is a £50 admin fee payable directly to them for the contract name change .
The flat is a two bed, so you’d only be sharing with me. I’m very clean, tidy, easy to live with, and work in the office Monday–Friday, only WFH two Fridays a month.
Both bedrooms are very similar in layout, each has a queen bed, fitted wardrobe, small chest of drawers, and its own en-suite bathroom. The flat is fully furnished, so you wouldn’t need to worry about buying any furniture such as a bed, mattress, bedside tables, or wardrobe.
The flat also has a balcony with an unreal view.
Building amenities include:
• Gym
• Coffee shop in the lobby
• Concierge
• Roof terrace
• Access to the yoga studio in the neighbouring building
• WFH spaces in both the lobby and on the top floor.
• Optional parking space in the private car park beneath the building (£250pcm)
Location-wise, it’s more Kew than Brentford. The building is a stone’s throw from Gunnersbury Park and less than a 3-minute walk to Kew Bridge station. Gunnersbury tube station is around a 15-minute walk away, or there’s a bus directly outside the building that gets there in around 6 minutes.
The building is professionally managed, so there’s a standard referencing process you’d need to go through if we seem like a good fit. This includes the usual checks you’d expect when renting.
Please note that bills are not included in the rent, although internet is included. Overall (bills included) it costs around £1,500 give or take. Happy to give a rough monthly breakdown if helpful.
To avoid wasting anyone’s time, I am ideally looking for someone who doesn’t work fully remotely — preferably someone office based during the week with only occasional WFH days.
Feel free to message me if you’re interested!
