Bright Double Room Available in Beckenham

Hi! We have a room available in our house and are looking for a friendly, creative, and tidy new housemate :) Girls or Non Binary preferred. We are LGBTQIA+ and POC friendly🏳️‍🌈💛🧡🤎🖤

The Room
• Spacious double with lots of natural light, overlooking Beckenham Place Park
• Upstairs location
• Unfurnished, but with a built-in wardrobe and cupboard
• £750 + £136 bills
• £800 deposit

The House
• Front garden + a big back garden
• Garage on the property (no tenant access)
• We like to keep the house clean, so looking for someone happy to do their bit. We have a cleaning rota, but ideally we’d love someone with similar standards so it’s effortless for everyone :)

Transport & The Area
• Beckenham Hill: 5 min walk, fast trains to Blackfriars, Elephant & Castle, central London
• Beckenham Junction: 25 min walk or 5 min bus, trains to Victoria & London Bridge, tram link to East Croydon
• 5–10 min walk to Beckenham High Street, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and takeaways

About us
• I’m Tanya, 24 (25 in a few weeks), studying English Lit & Creative Writing at uni. I play guitar, sing, and produce music (practice is in my room so it doesn’t disturb anyone). I’m social, love going to gigs, yoga, reading, movies, and being out in nature. I also have a lovely cat, Onoe, who’s great with other cats. I’m a smoker.
• Jazz is 24, a multidisciplinary artist (singer, dancer, actor, producer) and is social and outgoing. We’ve been friends for a long time and get on really well - she is tidy, enjoys getting together for a film or hanging out with others housemates but also values her own space.

Looking for
• Ideally someone aged 22–30
• Social, (ideally) creative, and cat-friendly (unfortunately, the landlord has said he would prefer no more peta to be in the house)
• Clean and considerate — the house works best when everyone does their part :)
• Our landlord likes to do a quick video call with new tenants before moving in, so you’d need to be happy to do this
