Double Room Available in Friendly Houseshare

We are looking to fill our double first story room in a friendly household.

The room is a bright and decent sized double, part furnished with wardrobes and can include a single bed setup. The previous tennant had space enough for a double bed and a full WFH desk setup.

This room shares a small bathroom with one male tenant.

The current tenancy is until February at which point we can discuss renewal.

We are looking for a single tenant only. Please do not apply if you are a couple/family seeking a room.

The house is a 3 story terrace with 5 bedrooms, a large kitchen, shared living room and dining room.

Ideally we are looking for someone friendly and sociable, but who understands social boundaries and batteries. We mostly spend our time separately but all enjoy coming together for occasional house nights in, house nights out, a BBQ or drink in the garden, and the very rare house party. Of course upon moving in there would be no expectation for you to join any of these activities but we'd like to make a new friend, not just a new housemate.

We current tennants are an eclectic group from varying backgrounds and professions but are looking to keep a friendly, somewhat social, and inclusive dynamic with the opening of this room.

We are share the home with a little black cat but unfortunately we are unable to accept any additional pets at this time.

We are looking for another working professional to join us.

Enjoys watching birds, cuddles on his own terms and late night zoomies.

We are LGBT+ friendly and because the room and the lounge are both on the first floor, unfortunately it probably wouldn't be the best fit for some physical disabilities.

All current housemates have omnivorous diets so might not be the best fit for a vegan trying to stay away from meat and meaty smells. For vegans/vegetarians undeterred by this, we do have two fridges and uncooked meat and dairy is only kept in one.

We would love if when you reach out you give us a few details about yourself. All the standard stuff like name/age/profession but also would like to know a little more about your hobbies etc so we can get a good guage of you as a person. If you sound like a good fit, we like to have you over for a cup of tea and a chat with your room viewing so we can understand if you'd be a good fit for us, but equally so you can see if we would be a good fit for you.
