Description
Hello, my name’s Jack. I’m 31 and I’m looking for a professional to share my home in Chessington.
I’ve lived here for a long time and I really value the fact that it feels like a genuine home. The goal is to find the right person to join me rather than creating a typical house share. I’m looking for someone respectful, tidy, and easy-going who is after a relaxed and peaceful place to live.
The house itself is a spacious three-bedroom property with a large kitchen and a comfortable living room. There is plenty of shared space to cook and unwind so we won't feel like we are living on top of each other. The room for rent is the second largest in the house, offering plenty of space for full-time use. It’s a bright, welcoming, and well-looked-after home that is very easy to settle into.
The location is arguably the best part of the setup. We are less than a minute’s walk from Chessington North station, which offers direct trains to London Waterloo, Clapham Junction, and Vauxhall. Right by the property, there is a handy parade of shops including a Sainsbury’s Local, a Morrisons Local, and a local cafe. There are also a couple of newly opened artisan bakeries and independent shops nearby, along with a few good pubs within easy walking distance. Even with all these amenities on the doorstep, the house is tucked away on a quiet residential road so it remains very peaceful.
The room comes furnished with the essentials, but I can be flexible if you have your own furniture you’d like to bring. Some of the communal furniture might change slightly by the time you view the house as I’m currently refreshing the space, but the layout and comfort of the home remain the same.
I am the head tenant and the room will be let under a lodger-style agreement. I’m ideally looking for someone on a similar wavelength who is interested in a Fixed term or a long term stay - but I am open to discussion on this.
The room is available from 18 January 2026, though I can be flexible on an earlier move-in date for the right person. I’m also happy to consider a Monday-to-Friday or fixed-day arrangement for professionals who only need a base during the working week, with the rent adjusted accordingly.
If you’re looking for a calm, friendly home with everything you need right on your doorstep, please do get in touch.
