Single room in friendly East Barnet home

A bright, comfortable furnished single room is available from early September in a well-kept home in East Barnet, EN4, across the road from Oak Hill Park.

The room is approximately 2.5m x 2.5m, overlooks the garden and includes a single bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and bedside table. It is on the second floor and has central heating.

You will share the home with a professional couple, who work from home a few days a week, and one other lodger.

Shared facilities include:
• kitchen and dining area
• garden
• bathroom, mainly shared with the other lodger
• washing machine and allocated storage
• broadband
• on-street parking

The house has convenient transport links. Buses 184 and 382 stop opposite the house, providing quick connections to Arnos Grove and Southgate Underground stations, with direct Piccadilly line services to Central London. Oakleigh Park station is around a 15-minute walk away. Local shops are around a 10-minute walk away.

We are looking for someone who would enjoy a friendly, respectful and generally quiet home. The household is non-smoking, and everyone is expected to leave shared areas clean after use. Occasional overnight guests are welcome; we just ask that you let us know in advance. We also have a cat, who usually stays on the ground floor.

Rent: £650 per month, including bills
Deposit: One month’s rent
Payment: Monthly in advance
Notice: One month

Two suitable references and proof of income will be required. A right-to-rent check will also be completed before moving in.
