I wanted to let you know that the room will be available from the end of April (exact date to be confirmed, but potentially sooner). Initially, a dual tenancy was agreed; however, one tenant has decided to move out. As a favour, I’ve agreed to advertise the room, though I can’t guarantee finding a new tenant. The other tenant will be staying until the end of August, so if you’re interested, this room would be available for a 4-month lease.
The flat will likely be listed for sale in early May, and viewings will take place shortly thereafter. The aim is to sell the flat by the end of August, which coincides with the expiration of both your tenancy and the current tenant’s agreement. In other words, the room will be available until August 29th. However, if the flat doesn’t sell by that time, there may be the possibility of extending your stay, or if the property is sold to another landlord, they might wish to keep you as a tenant.
The existing tenant, with whom you’ll share the flat, has been living here since last August. He’s a fantastic, polite, and easy-going professional—an absolute pleasure to live with. I’m looking for a new tenant who is like-minded and will get along well with him (which should be easy!).
The Cost:
As this was originally a dual tenancy, the rent for the room is £1,050. While this may seem a bit high, the flat is fully furnished with excellent features and technology, located in a prime area with convenient transport links and shops right on your doorstep.
