This spacious room available now is a clean, bright and airy, large double room, in a friendly house share in a very substantial double fronted semi-detached house. The property is nicely set back from Long Lane. The room comes furnished with, two double wardrobes, drawers, bed side drawers and a double bed.
This great property has a shared modern kitchen with all the items that you would need including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer as well as all the usual items like toaster, fridges, freezers etc. The house has a further communal sitting room AND a separate dining room!. There are 2 bathrooms, a utility room, a downstairs WC and a small but neat and secure rear garden. As is normal, the garden is technically the tenants' collective responsibility, but as full time landlords we are quite keen gardeners, so we do regularly pop by and happily help out with the garden. This means that the garden is kept pleasant and ready to be enjoyed - in the warmer, sunnier weather that is!
There is some off street parking available and plenty of free on-street parking.
One of the best things about living in Long Lane and in Hillingdon general, is that it is quite well served for transport. The house is close to many bus routes and about a 25 min walk (or 5 min bus ride) from Hillingdon Tube. Many local shops, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance.
The rent does include all of the bills ie the Wifi, TV licence, Council Tax, gas, electric and water.
The ideal tenant would be aged between 21 - 40ish, professional, non-smoking and very importantly be capable of getting along with the other tenants in the house. It is fair to say that the other housemates currently living at the property, are all lovely and get along very well, they are all female and would prefer the houseshare to remain all female. They will want to meet whoever moves in before hand to see if they will fit as they have commented that they love living in the house because it is very much a home and they don't want this to change This is probably because of the unusually generous shared areas. The right person will most definitely want this too.
