Living in Kingston: Kingston upon Thames is a vibrant riverside town known for its dynamic mix of history, culture, and entertainment. Young professionals and students are drawn to its lively atmosphere and easy access to stunning green spaces like Richmond Park, London’s largest royal park, and Bushy Park, perfect for weekend walks, cycling, or picnics with friends. You’ll also find unique cultural attractions such as the Rose Theatre, which hosts various performances, and the Dorich House Museum, celebrating creative arts.
Kingston’s excellent shopping facilities, including the Bentall Centre, provide access to major brands and boutiques, making it easy to find everything you need without leaving town. With a bustling student community and fantastic transport links, Kingston is the perfect blend of a lively, accessible, and beautiful place to call home.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a considerate and clean flatmate with good manners and a positive attitude—someone who knows that dishes don’t magically clean themselves and understands that the kitchen should be left spotless after use. If cooking delicious, nutritious food is your thing, great—just remember to tidy up afterward!
Flat Etiquette:
A cleaning schedule is in place and visible on the fridge, and everyone follows it, including us, the existing housemates.
Friends, family, and long-term partners are welcome for dinners, drinks, or movies at sociable hours. Overnight stays are fine, too, but keep things respectful and low-key.
No wild after-party antics or bringing random strangers home at odd hours. Let’s keep the place safe and comfortable for everyone.
We all value peace and quiet during the week and weekends. If you’re coming home late, be considerate and keep noise to a minimum.
No 2 a. m. screaming matches with your ex—Steve or Melissa can wait till the morning! If it’s that urgent, feel free to take the call outside so we can all sleep peacefully.
What’s Not Welcome:
Sorry, no weird stuff—no sewing machines, sex swings, jacuzzis, or motorbikes in the room (yes, it’s happened before).
No random pets that make me scream like a little girl including but not limited to snakes, big hairy spiders, piranhas, rats, and especially random aggressive birds. 🐓😅
Professional couples may be considered under specific circumstances, but the room is primarily for one person.
P. S. I do love dogs! If you have a small, well-trained dog under 10kg that won’t leave surprises in my shoes, we can talk!
Availability:
Available to rent immediately
Viewing is available right away, and we are looking for someone who appreciates a clean and peaceful environment
Housemates:
The house is shared with two professionals, one male and one female, who are considerate, quiet, and maintain a calm and respectful living environment.
