2 bedroom flat looking for housemate for second room.

Unfortunately, I am moving back to my home town as my degree comes to an end and am looking for someone to take my cosy double bedroom.

Location: directly opposite Kingston train station (amazing access to the town centre and all its amenities)

About the room:

a cosy, well maintained double room with 2 fitted, double wardrobes. This bedroom has SO much storage within the wardrobes and even more under the bed frame! In the room you’ll find plush, grey carpets and super tall ceilings with an electronic sky light. This room is sooo bright, I can’t even tell you! An added bonus is you can electronically close the blinds and quite literally blackout the entire room (it was a godsend after a night shift)

About the flat:

a generous sized flat, perfect for two occupants. You’ll enter the flat via an electronic pin code (or your keys) and be greeted by a small flight of stairs. The apartment block is shared with only one other flat. Once in the flat, you’ll face a corridor with your bedroom on the left. The flat is spacious, bright and carefully designed with eclectic ornaments, plants and books to give a nice homey feel. Added bonus with high ceilings and sky lights spread across the entire flat!

Inside:

- large modern bathroom with bath AND shower
- washing machine, tumble dryer
- dishwasher
- fridge, freezer
- large dining table
- comfy double sofa
- TV and internet (and most streaming apps)
- appliances such as kettle and toaster

The neighbours:

Just one other flat in our building - 2 professional gals who are respectful and a good laugh.

Your new housemate:

Susie is one of the best housemates you could ever anticipate to live with. She’s super clean, respects your privacy and great to have an after-work debrief with. She’s got impeccable taste for interior and personal style, super chill and really enjoys a decent chat about absolutely everything. She loves binging TV series or scrolling TikTok after work to wind down, and will most likely fancy a pint at the weekend or an aimless browse around the charity shops. She’s also partial to a cheeky McDonald’s (despite her best efforts to be a healthy gal during the week) 🤣 her home is her sanctuary, and an ideal fit would be someone who feels the same. We are both super sad about my decision to move home, so we’ll be taking applications through a fine tooth comb to find the perfect fit.

I will most likely be leaving the bed frame in the room so all you’ll need is a mattress, unless you want to buy that at an extra cost. It’s an £800 orthopaedic mattress from John Lewis so I’d want half of that if you were interested. If not, I’ll get it moved out before you move in!

The move in date suggested is providing contracts and references can get sorted in that time etc.
