Double room near Totteridge and Whetstone/Barnet

Large double room near High Barnet/Totteridge and Whetstone. Available from 25th of August for medium/long term. You'd be joining two long time friends and two lovely cats!

The room:

Large double room. The room is unfurnished. 3.8x3.4m.

(There is also a slightly smaller you can see in the pictures we'd consider for £750.)

Gas heating, lovely large windows.

Second floor flat:

Separate kitchen and living room. Hall closet and other built in storage.

Kitchen has a gas hob, oven, microwave, washer/dryer combo, and a standard fridge/freezer. Beautifully renovated recently.

In the living room, I have a large smart TV, Switch and a bookshelf, and some other furniture, all can be used communally.

Two balconies! You couldn't ask for more beauty. One balcony in the front, and a rear fire escape with enough room for a grill or bike storage.

There's an unreserved carpark out front. The whole building is within a beautiful little alcove of trees and nature, so it's quiet and peaceful.

The area:

We are a 10 minute walk from High Barnet, Totteridge & Whetstone, and the lovely village of East Barnet. Every shop you could want. About 15 minute walk from each respective tube station. Plenty of busses run nearby.

Just across the road from a big nature reserve and up the road from a park with a lake.

About us:

I'm a musician, theatre producer, and tour guide, originally from America, by way of New Zealand. I've been in London for about 6 years.
I usually work in town and like to relax at home.

Other flatmate works from home 3 days a week in casting. Originally from Sweden, she's lived in NYC and in London for 6 years.

We're sociable and would love flatmates that click with us. We enjoy films and shows with a glass of wine or cocktail, tabletop and video games, and regularly go to the local pub quiz. We're big theatre nerds and love going to shows.

I'm a pianist working in musical theatre and do sometimes practice music at home, but I am always accommodating to my flatmates if they're WFH or similar.

Final details:

Rent is £800, not including bills our council tax. Bills we suspect will be pretty average, split 3 ways.

Professionals preferred, but open to local students. No couples, sorry. Cats considered, but no dogs (as our cats wouldn't get on with them).
This is an LGBTQ+ friendly house!

Must love cats! I have two very friendly indoor cats that do roam the whole house. They are very clean, neutered, and up to date on all medication. They might be shy at first, but they will learn to give you a cuddle.
