This is a thoughtful property that you can call home.
The house was fully renovated a few years ago from new electrics and plumbing, and has a lovely leafy garden.
There are 6 rooms in the house all of which are doubles with en-suite bathrooms, and the other 5 housemates are professionals mid 20s to mid 30s.
The people that live at our houses tend to always tell us they want enough social space to hang out with house mates but also value the privacy of their own room. We add several touches to the house such as sound reducing panels, ensuite bathrooms, high-speed wifi and flatscreen TVs for a private haven to large kitchen and dining area, outdoor patio / garden and close by to lots of social hang outs.
The house is as easy as hotel living. Bills are included so its just one amount you pay. Rooms are fully furnished and all facilities including washing machines, dryer and ironing boards are supplied.
Design (function and style) is really important to us and something we look to improve all the time. We hope that you will find the house light and airy but also with cool subtle finishes that bring it to life.
The local area of New Barnet in leafy north London is a mix of independent retail, cafes and bars and has managed to keep chain offerings to a minimum although you will still find a Costa Coffee like anywhere else. There is a Pure Gym a couple of minutes walk away with plenty of places to hang out - we recommend The Wilds Cafe for brunch and Justin Delage charcuterie for a coffee. Or if you fancy catching a movie with a glass of wine or beer head over to the Everyman Cinema.
There are several local areas to visit close by. East Barnet Village has local cafes and pubs. In High Barnet you will find everything from Pizza Express restaurant to great pubs like the Mitre Inn to more great restaurants and cafes. Pop to Whetstone for more restaurants, we recommend Bayleaf and Ems coffee shop. Or Cockfosters up the road for fusion Greek food at Skewd or a drink at the Cock Inn.
On a more functional note there is a large Sainsburys just down the road from the house next to New Barnet station.
Transport wise you will find New Barnet station literally a minute or two walk away with over ground train services to Kings Cross in approx. 15/20 mins and is also a quick route to destinations such as Finsbury Park, Highbury & Islington, Old Street and Moorgate. This train also heads outwards to Welwyn Garden City.
If you have a car there is a private driveway to share.
We genuinely care about our houses and the people in them. You will find more details such as heated towel rails in your ensuite, lots of individual kitchen cupboard space, weekly cleaner for the communal areas, two large fridge freezers and ultimately a great space to live with great people.
