Double room in Norbiton. Monday-to-Friday only.

SUMMARY
-500 for up to 4 nights per week. Midweek / Sunday-Thursday only. We sometimes have friends stay in the room over the weekends
-Ideal for someone who lives out of London/Kingston and needs to commute in every week for work or study
-Double bedroom, furnished with double bed, drawers, desk and chair
- House has two bathrooms. We use the bathroom on first floor, so unless we have guests over, you will have the second floor bathroom mostly to yourself
-Sharing the house with me (Alan) and my girlfriend Rachel
-House is 10 minute walk from Norbiton Station (30 mins by train into Waterloo)
-Cheap parking available if you have a car and want to apply for permit

ABOUT ME
Hi. I’m Alan. A 40 year old product manager working in a climate tech startup. I’m a proud cat dad of two. Their names are Theon and Varys. I like to think I’m friendly and easy to get along with, but nobody ever writes that they’re not on these things! I live with my girlfriend Rachel. She's studying psychology and working as a nutritionist.

I am looking to rent out my spare bedroom from Mondays to Fridays. I’ve had friends living with me for the past few years which has been fun, but all my friends are now coupled up or have places of their own!

I lead a fairly quiet existence during the week but like to have the place to myself over the weekend and have friends over to stay, so that’s why I’ve decided to look for someone to stay during the midweek only.

ABOUT YOU
I’m imagining if you’re looking for a Monday to Friday let, you’ll be commuting to Waterloo/ Vauxhall/ Kingston/ Wimbledon. I imagine you’ll come down on the Monday morning and leave on the Thursday or Friday morning, or something like that. Let’s chat and figure out the details.

You’ll go into the office every day. I’m not looking for someone who works from home / does hybrid working or spends a lot of time in the house during the day.

I am happy for you leave a suitcase in the room over the weekend, but no more than that. We need the room empty over weekends as we sometimes have friends to stay over.

THE HOUSE
The house is a 10 minute walk away from Norbiton Station, for direct access to Wimbledon, Vauxhall and Waterloo. Kingston Hospital and University campuses are a short bus ride away. Richmond Park is 5 minutes walk away if you’re looking for somewhere to go running.

Kitchen includes all the usual things that come in kitchens: fridge, freezer, washing machine, cooker, microwave. Upstairs there’s a bathroom with bath / shower / toilet, and there’s a second toilet downstairs. Fast internet available via WiFi.

If you need a parking space, you can apply for a residents parking permit for off street parking. £75 for a 6 month period.

THE BEDROOM
Small bedroom with double bed, nice mattress and drawers. Can add desk and chair if you like

I can supply bedding and towels.
