Description

I have been living in this beautiful split-level flat with my younger sister for the last five years. She is moving closer to her teaching job as she takes on a new and more demanding role, and so I am looking for a lovely new person to share with as I don’t want to leave!

A little about me: I am a 45yo children’s writer (recently agented and out on submission) and trainee counsellor. I work from home full-time and therefore am looking for someone who largely doesn’t. I love catching up with friends, spending time (away) with my wider family (nieces/nephews etc.), big walks, tennis (mostly watching!), reading, TV/film. I’m very friendly, tidy, considerate and looking for the same. I’ve become great friends with previous flatmates - hopefully that’s reassuring! But very respectful of space and want you to feel as at home in the flat as I do.

The photos are from the original listing, but the flat is now fully furnished with beds, sofas, armchairs, a beautiful oak dining table and chairs etc., but I am sure we can work something out if you have particular items you want to bring. The bathroom is shared but I am very flexible and there is also a second, separate WC downstairs. The parking space is all yours (I don’t have a car) and directly in front of the flat.

Bills are approximately £230 (broadband, council tax band F, gas & electricity, water) in addition to the rent.

A little more about the flat: A well-proportioned furnished two double bedroom conversion flat c. 110.9 sq m/ 1194 sq ft located on the lower and raised ground floors of this attractive period building. The property benefits from having an elegant raised ground floor double reception/dining room, which is flooded with light, has very good ceiling height, fireplace, wooden floors, sash windows and shutters. The reception room and dining room has a most attractive green outlook over your private terrace facing the garden. Double doors open from the dining onto the private terrace an ideal place to sit outside. It is worth noting that whilst you have views over the well-kept gardens, use of the garden is not included. There is also small but well-equipped galley kitchen and bathroom with a white suite on the raised ground floor. You have your own private access to the property to the rear via the utility room and downstairs cloakroom (separate WC) which leads to the entrance hall with stairs up to the first floor and doors to the two double bedrooms. The two double bedrooms are both well-proportioned and have plenty of natural light. There are also extensive storage areas. To the front of the property is also a private off street parking space included. Mount Ararat Road is a highly sought-after residential street that is extremely convenient for access to the amenities on Richmond Hill, Richmond town centre and the beautiful open spaces in Richmond Park.
