Description
My last looking for Spareroom ad was entitled 'Everyone is buying or getting married' and this seems to be a continuing theme as my current flat mate is moving out to be with her boyfriend!
I've been in since January and loved living in the area so far. There's a spacious double room on the edge of Richmond, near Kew Gardens available at the start of October.
It's an ideal location, eight minutes Richmond station and the fast train to Waterloo as well as the District line and Overground - there's also loads of connecting bus routes nearby. It's a five minute walk to Old Deer Park and only another five to get down to the river, with Kew Gardens just up the road. There's an amazing selection of restaurants at the end of the road as well as a couple of pubs, a Tesco Express, a couple of coffee places.
The room comes unfurnished but has two in-built wardrobes, a sink, as well as some storage space below the sink. My current flat mate currently has a king sized bed so it takes up quite a bit of space, as well as her own wardrobe added that you can see in the pictures. The kitchen has a big fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There's some storage cupboards just outside the room as well as lots of space a loft we have access to.
I've lived in London for seven years in Balham and Putney; with a couple, guys and girls, and enjoyed all the living situations. I work in content at England Rugby and although I do enjoy sport in general, it's not my personality. This does sometimes mean I work evenings and I'm away at weekends or for some chunks of time. A perk of living with me means you can get access to Twickenham tickets and free stash if rugby is your thing…
I'd rather have someone who I can relax and socialise easily where ideally we'd become mates rather than flat mates, but also very much have my own social circle and can keep myself to myself!
Outside of work and living, yes I will go to some new London small plates place with you, try out that recommended wine bar or head to the pub. I got into running into lockdown where I will be listening to a podcast to forget I'm running. Usually described as the tidy one in pretty much every flat I've been in, can provide references on request.
Essentially, consider myself laid back and easy to get on with and looking for similar to hopefully become friends and enjoy the flat in Richmond together. Get in touch with anymore questions.
