Double Room in Central, Leafy Richmond

We’ve been a very happy household here for the past 18 months, but times are a changing and our housemate is moving to Prague. However! That does allow room for a new, wonderful person to share our lovely home with. We have a large double room coming available from mid-October onwards (with some flexibility) in our 3 bed flat in beautiful, leafy Richmond.

The flat: is on a quiet road in a gem of a central location, just a couple of minutes walk from both the river and the high street, 6 or 7 minutes from the station, and 12 or so minutes walk up the hill to Terrace Field and Richmond Park. Richmond is such a beautiful part of London and we feel very lucky to live where we do!

The room available is a large double room. There is a light, bright shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. We have a parking space for the flat however this is already allocated, but on-street parking permits are available via the council.

Now a bit about us! One of us is a trainee psychotherapist and facilitator, and the other is an entrepreneur. We’re into self development, psychology, psychotherapy, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, music, film, theatre, exercise, the creative arts, and more...

You 😊: We’re looking for a lighthearted, conscientious soul with a healthy mix of serious and silly (ChatGPT How can I make this sentence sound less cringe/ trite/ twee 😄)... The flat has a very peaceful, calm atmosphere... We work hard and really value the tranquility of the flat to come back to, and would like someone who shares that same desire. We're not big drinkers and it’s definitely not a party place, although we are looking for someone who is social and open to chatting in the living room over a casual dinner, or cup of coffee in the morning. This isn’t a deal breaker, but if you’ve done “the work” or are doing the work, we’ll have plenty to talk about.

We will be holding viewings on Sunday 29th of September from 10:30am til 1:30pm. We can also do Monday 30th from 6:30pm til 8pm.

The rent for this room is £795 PCM including bills & council tax, and twice monthly cleaner, and the deposit is £433. The property is managed by an agency and there are a few usual checks but they are great to deal with and straightforward.

The king size ottoman bed (with relatively new Emma mattress) and large double wardrobe come with the room at the cost of £350 to our outgoing tenant. The desk and drawers in the photo will not be included.
