Extra large double room on outskirts of Richmond

Thank you for considering our lovely maisonette! This was our family home but we have relocated to the coast. I do still come to Richmond for work though (I’m airline crew) so will call into the flat (always with notice) and stay a maximum a couple of nights a month.

This “flat” is over 3 floors, it is above a commercial business so no noisy neighbours. it has its own entrance door, storage rack for a push bike, plus lots of coat and shoe storage. Up the stairs to a large bathroom, bath with shower over, basin and toilet. The kitchen/diner has all mod cons, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer.

The bedroom available is on this floor, It has recently been decorated and new windows have been put in this year. Double bed, large desk, fitted shelving and cupboards, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a three seater sofa plus a large window seat so plenty of space. Bed linen and towels can be provided too.

Location is fabulous for Richmond park (15mins walk) the river (5 min walk) and transport links, with a bus stop outside that serves Richmond and Hammersmith,.

10 min walk to Mortlake over ground
15 min walk to Richmond underground/overground.
15min walk to Kew Gardens Underground

Free parking around the surrounding roads so no permits needed.

Rent includes all bills, council tax, gas, electric, broadband, water etc etc. Personal items will need to be insured by yourself.

It is important to note there is no shared lounge but all rooms are large double rooms with desks and seating areas and the kitchen tends to be where people will sit and enjoy a glass of wine or dinner so we have never found this to be a problem.

We are looking for someone who is considerate of others, tidy and easy to get along with, references will be requested, ID’s checked, and you must have all the correct documentation to be able to rent a room in the uk. I will be doing face time interviews as the first point of contact. This is NOT a party house. We like our lodgers to feel safe, comfortable and offer a relaxing place to come home to.

There is one bathroom to share between three of you so the room is only suitable for one person for this reason no couples I’m afraid.

You will be sharing with two others, both in their thirties.

Just to reiterate,

No pets

No smokers

No couples….

We tend to match lodgers up with like minded people as this means we have a happy house. You will be expected to do your share in taking the bins out and cleaning the communal spaces.
