A double room with balcony in Richmond

We are looking for a new flatmate! We are about to renew an exceptional 12-month lease agreement on a peaceful Richmond flat, just a few mins walk from Richmond Park. You honestly won’t find a more affordable place of this quality in this area – we feel exceptionally lucky.

A bedroom with a private balcony is becoming available from February. The room is on the 2nd floor, with wonderful views over the leafy and well-tended gardens below, and is flooded with natural light. It has *five* spacious built-in closets. It is furnished with a double bed and a desk. The building has a lift.

There is another balcony and a separate laundry closet with washer and dryer. The kitchen has a service entrance. We also have a garage for storage.

Transport options are unparalleled - you're a few mins from North Sheen station or Richmond station, where you've got the train to Waterloo, the District line and the Overground. We're between Richmond and Sheen, which have oodles of shops and cafes and weekend buzz, and of course there's the lovely Richmond riverside and Kew Gardens nearby.

Bills are approx. £150/month, including council tax (band E), broadband, TV licence, water and power so the total rent/bills is usually around £800/month. Fees to join us on the lease will be £250 plus £667 deposit.

Jan and Anna are both academics working in London. We are quiet and tidy, and occasionally cook amazing things. We would love to have you join the household if you are a nice, tending-towards-tidy and quiet(ish) person! If you're interested, send us a message with a few words about yourself.
