Hi there, I have a double room available to rent in my two-bedroom flat in East London, Romford (single occupancy, female preferred).
About the flat:
The apartment is spacious and has modern fittings and furniture. The kitchen is fully kitted out with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, induction hob, oven, air fryer, instant pot, and utensils. There is one family bathroom to be shared with me.
The room comes with one double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, full-length mirror, and desk. There is space under the bed and above the wardrobe for storage boxes if you wish. There is also ample storage space in the hallway for you to store coats and shoes, which can help free up more space in your room. Conveniently located in Romford city centre, on the 7th (top) floor of a quiet residential building.
(Note: the room is occupied at the moment and photos of the room provided will be what the room looks like once the current occupant moves out)
Distance to local amenities:
* 3-minute walk from the high street and Liberty Shopping Centre
* 5-minute walk to a large Sainsbury’s or small Tesco/M&S
* 5-minute walk to gyms (Better Gym and PureGym)
* 10-minute walk to an Asda Superstore/Lidl
* 10-minute walk to Romford Station
* 18-minute walk to Queen’s Hospital
For getting into London, the Elizabeth line takes 18 mins to Stratford, 25 mins to Liverpool Street, 35 mins to Tottenham Court Road, and about 1 hour 10 mins direct to Heathrow Airport. There is also another train (Greater Anglia) which runs less frequently but is slightly faster, getting to Stratford in 10 mins and Liverpool Street in 18 mins

I’m respectful of alone time and personal space, so I’m looking for a flatmate who is on the same page. I’d also prefer a non-smoking flatmate who can keep the place clean and tidy (but I’m not the type to draw up a cleaning rota!).
Rental details: £850pcm, which includes all bills (water, gas, electricity, internet, and council tax). I do not have a parking space available on the premises.
