Live aboard Narrow boat

Delia is a lovely 58ft cruiser stern narrowboat located in a private dock in Southall. The boat has a living area and kitchenette, bathroom, a main bedroom and an additional second bedroom and/or living space. The bathroom has a full-size step-in shower and a cassette toilet and the living area has air-conditioning/heating. The rent includes council tax and internet, gas and electricity are billed separately.

The boat comes with a shared garden mooring. Please note the summerhouse and kitchenette on the land are not available for use but the garden can be used at any time if you want some outdoor space to enjoy in the nice weather, it’s great for a BBQ.

Delia is moored at Maypole Dock which is a beautiful private dock off the Grand Union canal in Southall. It’s a peaceful and quite green space in West London where we have resident wildlife including coots and swans. The dock consists of roughly 26 boats and is a community of all different kinds of welcoming people. In terms of facilities, the dock has garbage/recycling bins, a post room, laundry facilities, toilet facilities and a sluice. The dock is fully-gated and only accessible via gates with codes. The mooring itself is a fixed address in the borough of Ealing so you have a postal address available for mail and deliveries.

There’s good transport available nearby - Southall station is roughly a 12-minute walk away where you can catch the Elizabeth line and there’s easy access to the M4. There is also plenty of free parking available in the estate around the dock.
