Double room in lovely cottage

Hi thanks for viewing my ad! I have a fully furnished double room available in Thames Ditton, 15 min walk to Surbiton or the bus takes 3 mins. I am your current housemate , my name is Emma 😊I’m 26, and I work in health care and WFH usually all week. I’m originally from the US but I moved to the UK in 2020 and I’ve been living in this house for almost 3 years. It’s a lovely little cottage, and I’m looking for a girl to share with me (ideally between 24 and 35) who is a working professional and is tidy, considerate, and polite. I enjoy cooking dinner (I do Gousto meals during the work week and if that’s something you’d want to be involved in too that’s great!🥙🍝), binge watching some shows, and exploring London! The room is fully furnished and bills are NOT included in the rent, but they work out to about 200 a month per person (SkyTV/broadband, water, gas/electric, council tax). This varies based on the season. I also have subscriptions to Netflix, Disney plus and Prime Video.

I’m looking for someone short term at first with potential for long term depending.

The room currently has a double bed with mattress and under bed storage, a bed side table, a longer table and a large wardrobe with full length mirror.

There is one bathroom to share between the two of us.

The landlord lives nearby which is super helpful in case we need him for anything.

**There is free street parking if you need it about a 1 mins walk from the house, and it’s usually not difficult to get a spot!

** the train line to Surbiton is nearby the house so there is noise from trains passing- it’s not unbearable (you get used to it, I hardly notice the trains anymore), but if you are sensitive to noise this is something to consider
