Description
We’re looking for the right person to join our home and live with our family: Serge (40), Alana (35), and our two boys (ages 3 and 4). This isn’t just a spare room rental – it’s about finding someone who we’d be happy to live with, and who is comfortable sharing a home with young children.
The Room & House
Large, bright double bedroom on the ground floor, furnished with a double bed, desk, wardrobe, and chest of drawers.
Ground floor also has a shared open kitchen/diner and a three-piece bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Upstairs you’ll find two more bedrooms, a playroom for the kids, and a second bathroom with a toilet and bathtub.
About Us
We’re a young family with roots in Canada (Alana) and Australia (Serge). We’ve lived in the UK for around 10 years, with a few years in Australia in between – both our boys were born there. Serge owns bouldering gyms in the city, and Alana runs a start-up business from home alongside looking after the kids. Both children are at school full-time.
We’ve previously lived in shared houses, but this is our first time welcoming someone into our home as a family. We’ll be arranging both interviews and viewings to make sure it’s a good fit on both sides.
