I am looking for someone to join me in my current home. I work in office Monday - Friday, with an occasional WFH day. I am looking for a flatmate aged 24-35. I am 27, and I work within football. I love to travel abroad, most often flying away to various race circuits 🏎️
This room NOT suitable for couples or families.
I am looking to host viewings in the evenings (after 6:30pm) during the week or any time on a weekend.
The room:
The room is mostly unfurnished. Currently there is a wardrobe and mirror, but these can be removed if you wish. The flat comes with a designated onsite parking space.
The dimensions of the room are 3.05m x 2.44m
A double bed can fit in the room, but it does limit space. Please note, the images are from prior to the current flatmate moving in - but this will be the condition the room will be left in.
The area:
Surbiton is a quiet leafy area, and this road in particular is very tree-lined so you often hear different birds chirping away. The flat is located a ~15 minute walk from Surbiton Station, and a ~5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. The flat is located just off the high street so we are just minutes away from multiple supermarkets (Sainsbury’s, Waitrose & M&S), several gyms, coffee shops and restaurants.
Rent & Bills:
Rent is £800 not including bills. Monthly bills come to £210 each and do not tend to fluctuate. This property is classed as Council Tax D.
The tenancy is for 12 months. The property manager is looking to start a contract from the 18th August.
A new tenants monthly income must be able to comfortably cover the rent and bills. You must be able to provide the letting agency with your place of employment and yearly salary.
The deposit is the equivalent to 1 month of rent (£800).
Accessibility:
The flat is located on the first floor of a Victorian house. There are a total of 18 steps on the staircase to reach the flat. We have a large front door followed by 2 internal fire-safe doors in the house plus the front door to the flat. There is no lift, and the hallway within the flat is quite narrow so the property would not be suitable for a wheelchair user.
We have a buzzer system by the front door for someone to alert they are here, but you have to go downstairs to the front door to allow entry.
Additional Information:
Due to allergies, the flat would not be suitable for someone who has a dog/cat/furry pet.
