Comfortable, spacious double bedroom.

Come home to a welcoming, peaceful environment. A double room in a four bedroom house. Occupants are myself - recently retired artist/ illustrator - and my youngest of 3 sons, aged 25 but rarely here, due to working all hours, sports, girlfriend etc! But he is a lot of fun when he’s around. I’m offering a double bedroom for one person. Preferably working outside the home during daytime, as I do some work from home. It’s a peaceful spot with great transport links - on bus route to Surbiton, Berrylands, and Tolworth stations close by. All walkable, or by bike or by bus that actually goes along our road. Fast trains to Waterloo from Surbiton - 15 mins. Bathroom, though not en-suite, is a footstep away from your bedroom door and priority given to your timing. We also have loo/ cloakroom downstairs. Kitchen available whenever you like and I have spare fridge freezer to store your food. Bonus of living here - a really big garden with pond, seating, out doors or under shelter, chickens - so free eggs every day. And through the garden gate - about forty five acres of open land, allotments where I grow our fruit and veg, a park equipped with running tracks, outdoor gym, basket ball courts, cricket nets, football and cricket pitch, bowls, croquet, tennis courts and the Millennium Green - a large wild area with lake, maintained by the community. We have local Sainsbury’s, 24 hour Tesco, M&S food etc close by. Off street parking available on the drive but all parking free in the road. House rules are very few - please just leave kitchen and bathroom as you would like to find it! I have a dog, a welcoming softy of a labradoodle, aged seven and quite small sized. She’s only with me alternate months. Smoking allowed outside. Vaping OK in the house. I’m one of those people that can be sociable and chatty but also happy in my own company so draw and paint and do my own thing - never intrusive. Jack is friendly and sociable but not around much.
